For cantilever gates, you’ll need to choose a motor which is rated for double the weight of your gate i.e. if your gate is 500kgs, choose a motor rated for 1000kgs.

These motors form a key part of the system for cantilever gates, which are similar in some ways to a sliding gate, but do not require a ground track. The motors themselves are small but powerful, designed to provide safety, reliability and a high degree of performance. They’re self-locking, providing enhanced security benefits by making break-ins far more challenging for would-be intruders.
